Stats don't always tell the story of course, and the author has been pretty selective about the ones he published.  I like it that he only compares the stats from games against BCS competition.... 2008 vs. 2009.

The stats about the tight end are telling...and on this years team you could make the case that the tight end (McNeill) is our best receiver.

Other comparisons are 3rd and long (8 or more yards to go), first down success, plays for 20 or more yards, and red zone success.
