[Husker] Weird First Half

Well after sobering up (Saturday was rough on the wallet) I can make a
post that doesn't include my temper tantrums...I believe Watson,
although not the reason for the drops and turnovers Saturday, is
distracted by what is going on in Boulder. I am fairly sure Hawkins will
be gone at the end of the season and Watson HAS to be high on CU's list.
Just my .03

Do you think Watson is on bubble of being fired if he doesn't get or
apply for a head coaching job ?

it. It's time to turn the offense over to the younger kids. Sure miss
Burkhead. I wish Bo would take more control over the offense. We need
the killer instinct driven into that side of the team.

to say now, this is without a doubt THE WORST LOSS I can ever remember
as a Nebraska fan, and that includes the Texas Tech disaster in Lubbock
a few years back. This team should have won this game 49-7 and instead
just saw the season come to an abrupt end (and at home no less) to a
team that was missing its best defensive player, its starting QB AND the
leading RB in the conference and hadn't won in Lincoln since 1977 AT
HOME.

really watch the game closely you will notice that Shawn Watson is on
another planet right now, and I really think he is looking ahead to his
appointment as the Colorado head coach in about 3 months when Hawkins
get booted. When will Watson realize the WR screen (which happens to be
a lateral, and you all saw how that worked so nicely last week) DOES NOT
WORK WITH PLAYERS WHO DON'T PROTECT THE FOOTBALL? 8 turnovers? Give me a
freaking break. Take all these scrubs out and play players who
understand what it means to protect the football.

have the time and desire to do so) did you forget how to hold a
football? You should be sitting the rest of the year.
