[Husker] Offense

Are you serious?
I think the lion's share of the issues stem from 8 lost turnovers...This
would ruin any game plan. The passes were on the money. The runs were
blocked 100% better than the Texas Tech game. The coaches can't play the
game, they can only design and practice the game plan. They can preach and
practice ball control, but when there are a bunch of optimistic, clawing
players, as was the case with ISU, the chances for fumbles increases
dramatically. For goodness sake, Niles Paul and others even fumbled when
they were in the clear entering the end zone. No one could have imagined as
many dropped balls and just plain sloppy ball handling that seemed to get
worse the more they talked about it.
This talk of changing coaches is very premature. How many passes did Shawn
Watson drop? How many fumbles did Ron Brown make? Yeah, McNeil dropped a
point blank pass...should Coach Brown run stairs? Most of the people on
this list are compassionate, football savvy fans, but personelle decisions
should be made by the head coach. A short time ago didn't we all call for
Steve Pederson and Bill Calahan's heads? We now have the "Dream Team" of
Pelini and crew....I guess the honey-moon must be over.
