[Husker] Husker injuries...

And 6 of them were thrown behind the house!

I feel badly for all of the players and coaches. No matter how hard they
tried yesterday, things just got worse. Of course, it took my daughter to
put things in perspective for me -- "Dad, no matter what you and the fans
think, they are just kids my age! ( She is a 20 year old.) We place them on
such high pedestals and then can't wait to tear them down or see them fall
so we can complain about it!

For me, the really big news about yesterday was not the game or the loss --
it was the fact that a good friend's 1-year old daughter got the heart
transplant she needed to stay alive! Another perspective changer!

On another note, I sat in front of 5-6 Cyclone fans yesterday. One of them
was wearing a "F_ _ _ K Nebraska" t-shirt. I could not help myself as the
school administrator in me came out eventually! He did end up turning it
inside out! Pretty classless in my mind!

Better luck this week to the Huskers!
