The Heismann winner will go on to a big incentive heavy contract and a 1 or 2 year so-so career in the NFL with no ProBowls and Suh will get a big signing bonus, big contract and play around 7-8 years and have at least 5 ProBowls. Well.....maybe not if he goes to the Chiefs :)

I agree that it is lame that Suh has been returned to "write-in" status on
the Nissan poll, but have to admit that is in line with the policy they
already had posted.

No one in the media bothered to notice that Suh drew double-teams a lot of
the day, which helped clear the way for his 3 line-mates to get 4 1/2
sacks. If he dominates the next two weeks and gets a highlight play or two, I
think he can get back on the board with a big day against Oklahoma.
Keeping my fingers crossed for him and for some improvement on offense!

GO BIG RED!

I had not seen this - so if I missed it due to all the reading on Comcast
and DirectTV, I apologize now.

But the Huskers fell to defeat in volleyball to Iowa State the other
night. It was a good 5 set match. This raised Iowa State record to 1 and 75
against the Huskers.

The Cyclones are coached by Christy Johnson-Lynch. She also was an
assistant coach to Cook at Wisconsin.

Johnson-Lynch took over the Iowa State program in 2005. Previous to her
arrival they had finished last in the Big 12 7 of 8 years.

So while it was not a great night for the current Huskers, a former Husker
may have solidified a team and her spot to be Coach of the Year.

This week, ESPN removed Ndamukong Suh from the list of names
on its online ballot for the Heisman, despite the fact that
Suh leads the poll. However, fans can still vote for Suh by
writing in "Ndamukong Suh" at the website:

He still has 32% of the vote compared to Tebow's 12%. There is a
disclaimer at the bottom that reads:

Only those candidates with a legitimate chance of winning the Heisman
Trophy in the view of ESPN and Nissan will be added to the leaderboard.

At least one of the draft analysts has said Suh may be the #1 draft
choice next spring now that Bradford's shoulder is so iffy.

Tennessee seems to be trying its best to get the #1 draft choice,
though Tampa Bay, St. Louis, Detroit, Cleveland and KC are in the
hunt as well.

Titans need to replace Albert Haynesworth who fled to the Redskins in the
offseason for the big paycheck. Suh would be of the same caliber of DL
domination eventually with the upside of having a better character than AH,
known for his various brushes with suspensions and such. Last weekend
wasn't so great in my house, TT 31-10 over NU and New England (btw, they just
scored again!) scrimmaging the Titans cheerleaders to a 59-0 result in the
snow. Nashville has some excellent cardiac care facilities and the
suggestion was made that the Titans could get a group discount for a collective
heart transplant! Hoping for better results this weekend with NU-ISU and the
Titans mercifully getting a bye week.

Looking at the online guide on Lincoln cable, it has the ISU-NU game
on FSN tomorrow, not on Versus. Versus has Oklahoma State @ Baylor.

Better check your local listings.

Mike -

Think the Versus broadcast is the Baylor game the following week.
I've had FSN-HD down on my calendar for a week or more now.
