[Husker] Re: now come the QB discussion.

To me it seems as if Zac has had the reins pulled in a little on him, meaning that early this year he seemed to take off and run when pressured but now he seems to try to find someone instead. It also seems as if he has been playing scared. And I dont mean of the other team but of making mistakes. Like he is afraid that if he forces something and makes a mistake he may get pulled.
I think Bo needs to take him aside and tell him to just play. He knows the game and can be a very good qb when he does so. Tell him to just do what comes natural and forget about making mistakes, learn from them instead. This isnt a MNC season but can be a Big XII North championship season if they learn to play like they are capable of playing.

Wait a minute, Roger!

If you can't blame a single player, you can't entirely blame the offensive line either. Fact is, you can swap the QB, but you cant swap out the entire line. To be honest, you really can't swap many of them because you're going to rotate about eight or nine of them throughout each game.

Even when the Oline gave Lee some time, he did his best happy feet routine and started scrambling instead of stepping into the pocket.

Lee has had his time behind center. I have no problem with them trying Green on for size because someone has to generate offense, make plays, etc etc.  As Pelini said - they're looking for a little more leadership from the QB position. If Lee gets that straightened out, then fine. If he doesn't, it's Green turn to give it a shot.
