I dont have a problem with what was said or the way he said it. He simply stated that he is the decision maker and that is the end of the story. Its his job on the line not ours and he has to make the decisons on who plays and when they play and he gets input from his staff and doesnt worry about what the fans think. Dont blame him, my guess is that very few on this list have been to any practices and those that have have been to very few practices.
As he finishes "the buck stops here" meaning that his decision is final and he is the one who will pay if it is wrong.

....say this in a different way.  You sound like Nolan Richardson.  Talk it over with the AD; he can help.

“Fans can say anything they want,” Pelini said Monday. “When they're under the title of head coach, then they can make the decisions. Until then, I'll make the decisions around here, along with coach (Shawn) Watson and the rest of this coaching staff.
“They can boo me. They can say whatever the heck they want. ... But we're going to do what we feel is necessary to win football games. Period. End of story. I don't get influenced by what the fans, or the media, or what anybody else thinks.
“When they want to come in here and watch the film, and they earn the title, earn the respect of being a head coach, then they can start making decisions. Until then, the buck stops here.”
