Well, now, let's see. In the mid-Forties I got to see Frankie Albert 
and the Forty-Niners play against Otto Graham and the Browns in the 
original American Football Conference. (Most of today's NFL qb's 
couldn't even carry their jockstraps.) I got to see Herman Weidemeyer 
and Bobby Reynolds run amuck in the broken field. Watched Paul 
Cameron become an All-Everything single-wing tailback while attending 
UCLA. Was teaching at USC during OJ Simpson's heyday. And that's 
barely Jacks for openers.

Most of these guys were ancient-sport history before most folks on 
this List were born, but I think it's fair to say I've seen a bit of 
quality football.
