Now that's funny!!

The hype around here yesterday was the flu. A friend of mine in the
office has a Twitter account on his phone and got a message posted by
Bo Pelini to the effect that he had the flu and would sit out this
game along with a few other guys. The guys on Unsportsmanlike Conduct
had a field day with that one for about an hour yesterday with the
same story. But I think the issue has pretty much calmed down and by
evening I wasn't hearing much at all about anyone with the flu. It
was true that several key players were held out of practice yesterday,
but then it was a walk through day, no pads, no hitting, just a
routine before game practice. And they reported that Helu had already
been excused from classes that day, so he was excused from practice.
So it does sound very much about a tempest in a teapot. But frankly,
if this sort of thing gets the crowds anxious, but turns out to be
nothing, all the better, I say. Mizzou better be expecting our best.
And I'm really hoping we give it to them.

And I say again, hit Gabbert and hit him again. Make him
uncomfortable. He'll turn it over. We'll smile and say yea!!!

I'd really like this to be over by the 3rd quarter. I got work in the morning.
