[Husker] Predictions for Thursday

I don't have an especially positive feeling about this game for some
reason, so when I saw the point spread I was surprised to say the least.
(And I know this is just what the betting action is, but trust me, the
bookies ALWAYS know something we don't.)
At any rate, I was thinking the Huskers might have 3 losses on this
schedule, and that this would be one of them, but I hope I am wrong.
Weather aside, I see a close one.

Subject: [Husker] Predictions for Thursday
Seems rather quiet given the importance of Thursday night's game, so
I'm gonna try and spice it up a bit and see if we get some bites.
The betting line right now is Huskers favored by 3 points. That's on
Mizzou's field, at night, likely in the rain (70% chance).
They say that rain favors a throwing team, but Mizzou installed Field
Turf or something like it a couple of years ago, so there's little
chance of getting muddy (too bad!). I think most believe we can run
on this team, given that Mizzou hasn't really been able to stop anyone
so far this year. Their defense isn't what it was last year, and it
was spotty last year. I think it really comes down to Helu and 5
yards a pop, and Lee getting time to throw his routes. I think we can
compete better this year in a shoot-out, but I think our D should make
Mr. Gabbert wonder if he shoulda gone to another team, like his
brother is thinking. I think they're gonna hit him and generally make
him very uncomfortable.
The plumber in La Vista has his sign on 84th Street at Huskers 30,
Tigers 17.
I don't see a close one here; Huskers 28, Tigers 13.
Anyone else wanna chime in?
Nick
