Hence the statement in my original assumption that all games go as they did with the two noted exceptions. Playing the assumption game in the other direction, the team could have had a losing record this season. Just pondering national perception of an 11-1 record winning ugly, that's all.

And if you change 2-3 plays the other way, NU is 7-5 with losses to Missouri and OU. I think 9-3 is an accurate reflection of this team's ability.

Total lack of respect for NU, FSU is going to kill us. Then lightning strikes and we flat outplay them on the field only to lose in the last minute or so. I think this team shows up on both sides of the ball and takes it to UT this week. May not win but they'll know they were in a battle. Bet on Bo & Co. to find a way to stay in it and have a chance at the end.
