As those who followed this list know, I didn't like Pederson's handling
of the firing of Solich and subsequent hiring circus.  And, for awhile
it appeared that his first two choices weren't headed for success, but
lately both Wannstadt (who Pedey thought he had lined up before firing
Solich) and Nutt (for whom a plane was ready) are having some success
at places that don't have some of the program advantages that NU has.
