Good Morning:

After a long day in Lincoln yesterday watching the basketball team pour in 90 points against TCU (in one of the longest non-televised, no overtime basketball games I've ever attended) with NU winning that game,  then spending Saturday night with Roger (Lohr) and 85,996 of his friends (he's a popular guy let me tell ya) watching Nebraska win the Big XII North I have a comment on the bowl situation.

First if Nebraska were to beat Texas in the conference championship game they (Nebraska) will go to the Fiesta Bowl that is a contractual obligation that the winner of the Big XII Championship games goes to Glendale unless they are in the BCS Championship game itself. If Texas wins they go to the National Championship game and the Fiesta folks get an extra at large pick. 

Second my sources tell me that the Holiday Bowl is almost a lock for the NU bowl trip (unless they beat Texas). They want NU and the crowd they will most likely bring. A second trip to Dallas in the space of about 3 weeks would not be a good thing for NU or Dallas as it's not likely the traveling party would be very big.
