Subject: NCAA Championships - Watch the Lopers Across the Country

The
Loper football and volleyball teams will be involved in NCAA national
championship action over the next several days...and if you have a
computer and web connection, you can watch--for free!

The Loper
football team (11-1 record) was victorious Saturday vs. Saginaw Valley
State and has moved on second round playoff game vs. U. of
Minnesota-Duluth.  The Lopers and Bulldogs square off at NOON Central
Time on Saturday at Griggs Field in Duluth.  The webcast can be found

St.
Paul, MN is the site for the NCAA D2 Central Region Championship, and
UNK will play U. of Minnesota-Duluth in their first round game set for
2:30 p.m. Central Time on Thursday afternoon.  If the 31-2 Lopers can
move on, they will play at 6PM CT on Friday.  The regional championship
game is set for Saturday at 7PM CT.  The webcast page for the first

Congratulations to our local school, University of Nebraska-Kearney for their stellar season so far.  They won their first round DII playoff game against Saginaw Valley State and now travel to MN-Duluth.  If the stars align, there is a possibility that the Lopers could eventually meet up with North Alabama, coached by Terry Bowden and starting QB Harrison Beck.  That would be fun....
