There is also absolutely no doubt that any employer who dismisses an employee merely because of weight without having a valid reason related to job performance is a lawsuit waiting to happen.  (and deservedly so).

There is absolutely no doubt that people in many different fields get hired (or fired) all the time because of their physical appearance, so this is not as far-fetched as it seems.

So now it must be that the Athletic Director has poor integrity and character?  Must be so if he is looking to publicly humiliate and fire the coach because he wants someone better looking so it will help him raise money.
The sad thing is people believe this stuff without thinking it through because they see it in print.  Just ask Patrick Witt.
