At last count two assistants at Nebraska have been on the media's lists of potential
candidates for current or prospective head coaching openings.  

Some times I wonder where Nebraska football would be today if Frank Solich had taken
the head coaching job at Northern Illinois when he was offered it.  Perhaps we'd all be
talking about when Tom Osborne would pass up Joe Paterno on the list of most wins by
a coach.
