Finally...something interesting.  I *loved* those jerseys. Particularly the home red.  The guys looked bigger, meaner, faster, more intimidating in those threads...probably because they actually were all of those things.  Were the shoulder pads bigger back then as well?
The uniforms look better this year.  Last year, the team looked messy.  Different guys had different tshirts showing under their jerseys adding weird stripes on the sleeves.  Lots of different sock combinations (hate the red knee socks.)  I thought it really didn't look very good.  Much better this year.  My personal preference is a few less stripes on the uniform.  Either plain sleeves with the striped pants, or striped sleeves with the plain pants.  Also loved the simple block N on the sleeves back in Turner's day.
