[Husker] Kansas State Preview

Steven,

You're pretty funny Steven. That's the first time in my 65 years that I've
been accused of being sophisticated! I don't care who you are, where you
work, or what you do, no one from the lowliest "Crap Shoveler" to the
highest "Large Bank VP" likes being berated.

Intensity is good. Acting like a jerk on the sideline is not. There are
hundreds of intense coaches out there who control themselves on the
sidelines. The head coach reflects positively or negatively on the Team and
the University. If you want NU football to be portrayed in the same light
as Bobby Knight Indiana Basketball, you are welcome to it. I prefer a
Osborne, Bowden, Solich, Gill, Tressel, etc., etc., etc. demeanor.

I fully expected that my opinions would generate a lot of negatives. Every
post on this site is an opinion, in my opinion... Guess I'm not supposed to
post anything that goes against the Cool Aid Crowd.

Oh by the way, did your bank have to take any stimulus money?

Don

Are you both serious? The majority of the Husker alumni and boosters are
extremely satisfied with the intensity level of Nebrsaka's head coach,
myself included. "Boorish" behavior? Charm school? This is exactly what
is needed in a head coach at a major university. I feel like you are sipping

tea or a mint julip and fanning yourself. I really wouldn't want to upset
your lunch at the French Cafe'. I am a vice president at a very large bank
and can still toss back a beer with a hard working, passionate, blue collar
coach that would chew you up and spit you out.... It's football not a night
out at the opera. If his assistants can't take the heat....get out of the
kitchen...or at least have their man-servants fill in for them on the
sidelines.
