[Husker] Grades

It went on all night long. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. He
repeated statements the color commentator made (immediately after he made
them). He lost track of the ball. He lost track of the down. In general, it
didn't seem he was watching the same game I was. Either he was lost or the
folks that were supplying him with information were.

He is always ill prepared and makes really stupid mistakes. Last night,
he proclaimed that NU was going into "every coach's favorite formation,"
(i.e., the kneeldown), as they lined up for the final punt. It was as
though he didn't see them run three plays for no gain.

Early last season, Franklin interviewed Bo and congratulated him for not
assuming the job of defensive coordinator, because no coach can be a
coordinator and an effective head coach at the same time. Bo was totally
flummoxed for a response, given that he had made it very clear he would
be in charge of the defense.

This was also the crew who had no clue who this Zac Lee was when they
saw his name on a tee shirt at an early-season Missouri game.

For my money, he's the Denny Crain of college football.
