Congrats to the Husker players and coaches on the win over Oklahoma. The
defense came up huge, and the offense (largely) avoided critical turnovers.

A few in the stands where I was were chanting for Cody Green in the 4th
quarter. Personally, I have no problem with with switch from Green to Lee.
Both have their positives and negatives, and the coaching staff should be
getting the best out of their combined talents. Certainly, there was little
to be gained by switching back to Green with a 7 pt lead in the 4th quarter.
I was a bit surprised we didn't see more passing with Lee in there, though.

My main quibble with the play calling was after the long run by Helu set the
offense up 1st and 10 at the 11. Obviously (in retrospect, but also at the
time) the odds of running it in from there against the OU defense were slim.
Given that, and the fact that picking up a few more yards would be of little
value in a field goal attempt, three passes into the endzone were called
for. So on first down a throw a play action pass, and hope they bite on the
run fake. After that just throw for it, without risking interceptions. If
you don't get the TD, you can always just kick the FG. Even if Lee is
tackled for a loss, the odds of making the FG are not much affected.
Instead, on first down we had a running play for a short gain, and on second
down another running play, an option (fumble on the pitch). Of course, if we
run it in for the score, it's brilliant, but that's not the way to bet.
