[Husker] NU/OU Line

A little, but Sagarin's predictor has Nebraska and Oklahoma surprisingly close. While we've all seen the evidence the last three weeks that would suggest that the Sooners could blow out the Huskers, there are several reasons to suggest that's overly negative.

Nebraska's first half performance against Baylor was pretty good for the most part. 21 minutes into the game, they were up 20-0. The second half was most disappointing, but there was something positive to start the game.

If Nebraska had even modest ball security against Iowa State, NU wins easily. Eight turnovers is quite the anomaly. And the total statistics were quite impressive for most of the game until 'ol Mo tilted the scales to the Cyclones late in the game.

Roy Helu shed his green jersey. If he's finally getting back to full speed, who knows.

Nebraska is a team that nearly won at Blacksburg, and Oklahoma's offense has struggled against stout defenses. K-State hung thirty on the Sooners last weekend.

I'm surprised as well by the line, but I don't think it's indefensible either.

I was a little surprised to see that Oklahoma is only favored by 6 points.
