Yes. As a point of reference, Sagarin ranks NU #43, Kansas #58, Kansas
State #68, and Colorado #96. According to Sagarin, OU is favored by
less than one point in Lincoln, which is pretty much a toss-up. There
are other teams playing less than perfect football.

Do other teams make some good plays? Yes. Do other teams make some
mistakes? Yes. As a point of reference, Nebraska ranks #13 in pass
defense. The DBs are one of the strengths of the team. Baylor trailed
by 20 at the half and so threw the ball quite a bit, but was only 19-38
for 5.8 yds per attempt (less than Nebraska's) with only 222 yds and 2
pics and 0 passing TDs. (That is below NU's average pass defense of
247 ypg and no team in FBS football is averaging less 200 yds pass
defense per game, so 222 yds with 2 pics is pretty good.)

I'm looking forward to seeing if NU can win the Big 12 North. Midway
through the conference schedule, NU controls its own destiny. Count
me with those who think many NU fans are complaining too much ("Bench
Lee", "Fire Watson", etc.). Is everything perfect? No, but is that
what it takes to follow and support the team? I trust the coaches and
team won't be giving up on this year and will be working hard to improve.
