Fw: [Husker] Dish Network vs. Directv

I have Dish, and I live in Nebraska, so I can't comment on getting games
that aren't available elsewhere. I do love my Dish, though. I can tell my
DVR to record a pay per view game of the Huskers a couple days in advance,
and I know when I get home it will be there. (sometimes a few seconds of the
front is cut off, and sometimes they don't have their "poop in a group" at
the beginning of the game, (lacking commentary, etc) but I blame the sports
network not Dish. I can also program my DVR from any web browser as long as
I can find an internet connection. That is cool. Tech support it pretty
good, although I do reach an occasional hard to understand tech support, but
they have been helpful.

Once I purchased a single day Game pass, when the Huskers were listed, but I
never got them. I guess they were blacked out or something. Had to watch it
on the horrible cable or over air signal! I did get to watch some ACC games
that didn't interest me a lot, but football is football. I Like It!

So to summarize.....Nah, too late. I like my Dish. If I HAD to have the pro
package, I guess I'd bite the bullett and go Direct. But I can get as many
as 6 different pro games some weekends between FOX east & west, CBS east &
West, local FOX & CBS and throw in NBC's night game and ESPN MNF I am
saturated.

Go Big Red!!

Monty

Anyone here have any experience, pro or con, with either service as it
applies to getting Husker games that arent available elsewhere? Any other
tips would be appreciated as well.

Dave
