Former NU strength coach Boyd Epley was interviewed by the World-Herald today.

Epley points out some of the problems that developed during Dave Kennedy's run as NU's strength coach, namely the emphasis on distance running.  For offensive linemen, who need to operate in 6 to 8 second bursts, endurance running is the complete opposite of what they do on the field.

He also defended his former boss, Steve Pederson, though he admits that Pederson made some "bad decisions" and hired the "wrong people".
