NU finished in a tie for 1st with ISU at the Big 12 wrestling
championships.  NU had four champions:
  Junior Jordan Burroughs (157) 
  Junior Craig Brester (197)
  Seior Brandon Browne (174)
  Senior Vince Jones (184)
It was NU's first Big 12 wrestling championship and the first
conference championship since 1995.  A big win for NU was Brester
(#2) beating Jake Varner of ISU.  That left ISU needing to win
the HWT championship bout for the tie, which they did.  Varner
had beaten Brester twice this year.  One of the most exciting
wins was Browne's 3-1 win with a takedown with 3 seconds left
in the match.  (It was close to being no call.)  Burroughs
scored takedowns at the end of both the first and second periods
to win 6-4.  Stephen Dwyer lost 3-1 in OT in the 165lb final.
The team score was helped by 3rd place finishes by Robert Sanders
and Tucker Lane.
