[Husker] Osborne Staying on as Athletic Director

Harvey Perlman has announced that Tom Osborne will be staying on as athletic director on a year-to-year basis.

I never really understood the "June 2010" date for the end of Osborne's appointment.  Perhaps it was to give Perlman an out at some point, or to make it seem that Osborne was "bailing out" to help clean up the damage done by his predecessor.

My take is that Osborne will serve as long as his health holds out.  (Or if Nancy puts her foot down...)
