I've noticed about a three second delay from radio to TV. I ruin the
football games for my wife and son with the delay.

Subject: [Husker] Television to Radio time delay for Basketball
For Husker Basketball, I listen to the radio and watch television. Has
anyone else noticed that there is a 6 to 10
second delay from the picture on the television to when I hear the play
on the radio? During football, the delay is hardly
noticeable, or the radio is ahead of the television by just a second or
two. I assume that this phenomena is due to the fact
it takes longer for the television signal to get to the station, beamed
up on the satellite, back to the cable company and
broadcast to the set. The radio signal just has to go to KFAB and
broadcast across the airwaves. I think I know the answer
but would like other thoughts on the matter. Thanks.
