Yes, that makes perfect sense right now. My guess is that Bo seeks 
warm-weather speed and early maturity (i.e., HS spring football) from 
a talent-rich state (population 20,000,000+) to meet immediate needs 
- - the formerly clearly a necessity at any time and the latter a 
quick fill-in for several years of recruiting along other lines.

This trend might continue for several years while gradually morphing 
into a more traditional mode, but for the moment it appear necessary.
