It pays to keep in mind that Bo's plan to re-establish Husker 
dominance probably covers a four or five year period, almost 
certainly no less.

Every year the Huskers graduate "irreplaceable" players. That's part 
of the collegiate system and applies to every team in the nation. Mo 
Purify seemed to be irreplaceable, yet Swift and Peterson have filled 
in most adequately.

My own feeling is that longsnapper O'Leary and holder Wesch will be 
among the tougher seniors to replace. Without these two, Henery might 
not have saved our bacon quite so often.

Yet, each following season underclassmen emerge, not always in the 
identical position(s), but every team fields 11 men on offense and 11 
on defense every season.

Bo's toughest job will be to train Husker fans to be patient while 
the rebuilding process continues.
