[Husker] Does Dan Fouts ever get tired of being an idiot?

 Thanks, Paul.

Not only were Fouts' comments about the game being a rout completely off the mark, I had to laugh when Fouts (mere moments later) said the game "could be a shoot-out."

In terms of offering insightful color commentary, I'd put Fouts right up there with former NBA star, Bill Russell, who once said "he has such a high shooting percentage because he takes the high percentage shots." Fouts can't retire fast enough for me.

Some brilliant commentary by Fouts today:?
?

"This is almost a route" - right after Clemson scored a touchdown to
make it 21-10. Oh really? I didn't know a team being down by 11 early
in the 3rd quarter and had possession of the ball could be considered a
route. Good call!?
?

"Nebraska will never establish the run game today They should stop
trying." - this came seconds before Castille ripped of a 50+ yard gain,
only to finish with 125 yards on 18 carries (a measily 6.9 YPC).?
?

-Ragging on Nate Swift for "flat out dropping" a slant route that was
thrown hard, slightly beyond his reach, and low.?
?

It sure seems like this blowhard was obsessed with ragging on Nebraska
today. A fitting end to the game would have been Joe Ganz taking the
gameball and shoving it right down his throat. Thank God we don't play
many games on CBS!?
?
