Well, I didn't see both, so it's hard to compare. :)

Seriously, it was one of the best games I've been to. The weather
was pretty good--really warm when the sun was out, which was much of
the first half. The second half clouded up and cooled off a bit,
but it was still very comfortable in a sweatshirt.

We've not been to too many games, but have made it to the last three
bowl games. Dallas was not that great a destination, but this (so
far) ranks up there with San Antonio. This game was probably about
as exciting as that Alamo Bowl too. :) Bo is 2 for 2 in Nebraska
bowl games.

I looked at tickets through the NU site, but didn't want to sit in
the corner--so I splurged on better seats. We were on the 45 yard
line, about 13 rows back from the field. It was a great spot, but
an older fellow we talked to on the shuttle into the game comes to
lots of games here and said there isn't a bad seat. It really felt
like the stadium was nicely drawn in to the field.

Our tickets were on the Nebraska side, but there were quite a few
Clemson fans in our section. They were *loud* before the game, and
for the first half, but they got awfully quiet in the second half.
It looked like Clemson folks outnumbered us slightly, but they sure
cleared out quickly at the end! All we talked to and were around
were very civil and pleasant.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, the replays in the stadium were
*terrible*. On many of the replays, critical parts of the play were
off the bottom of the big screens. In retrospect, I think it was
the aspect ratio not matched up on these very wide screens, and the
bottom portions of the picture were simply cut off. For example, on
many of the pass replays the camera would follow the ball in the air
and the receiver/defender would not be visible until the ball was
there.

On the play that was reviewed for Ganz fumble, none of the replays
showed his knees or the contact with the ground. That was a long
wait, by the way. When the announcer said, "After review, the
player was down..." he was completely drowned out by cheering as
soon as the word "down" came out.

Pelini thanked the team for their spirit in his comments after the
awards, and then also thanked the Nebraska fans--calling them the
best in college football.

All in all, a great experience and a great win.
