CBS and Fouts are accustomed to such profound, misguided statements. The camera coverage left mucho to be desired IMHO, and how about the Play of the Game...a non-fumble by Witt? They also misfired showing the Player of the Game, Ganz (#12 NOT #2).
Having said that, I thought Ganz showed us the most gutsy bit of leadership he has displayed all year. Overcoming a dinged ankle and a blow to the head. He just kept going and going about like the Energizer Bunny. He has done so well since becoming a starter. This is a great game as his last as a Husker!!
Others have mentioned seniors, Swift, Peterson, Suh as well as Ganz. Certainly Steinkuhler played a huge part in the win as well. This game was certainly a display of the no-quite attitude/effort of this Husker team and coaching staff. And, it was on national TV (even if it was CBS).
A great win. A great way to end Bo's first season as head coach!
