Nebraska will get its chance to beat another Schnelly coached team when
Florida Atlantic comes to Lincoln.
So maybe there will be some highlights of him grimacing in pain as the
Huskers pound him into the ground.

Subject: [Husker] Happy New Years and a couple of thoughts

Happy New Year to Ya'll. I have noticed that there is a crawler at the
bottom of the screen during the ESPN bowl games that
show the matchups of upcoming bowl games and a blurb about the teams and
what percentage of people believe one team will
beat the other. I thought it was nice of them to point out we had gone
to something like 38 out of the last 40 year (or whatever it is) instead
of a stat that is slanted more negatively against Nebraska. Also 58% of
the fans (perhaps Nebraska fans have more time on their hands) believe
Nebraska is going to win.
One other thought. Is it just me, or do the broadcasts seem to take as
many swipes at Nebraska as they can? Last Friday, I was
watching the Motor City Bowl with Florida Central with Howard
Schnellenberger against Central Michigan. ESPN had to show the Nebraska
failed 2 point conversion against Miami during the game. Have you ever
seen Miami playing a game and see a flashback of Cory Schleshinger
scoring the winning touchdown against Miami...who was at home. Or Steve
Spurrier looking like a Jackass eating razor blades as his team lost 62
to 24 (more if Matt Turman didn't take a knee at the end). What about
Nebraska beating a
Howard Schnellenberger Oklahoma's team like a red headed step child. Oh
well, Go Big Red
