It sounds like there were no surprises of any sort on National Signing Day. NU is signing 20 recruits with Byrd (db) not being academically eligible as expected. Taylor Martinez is/was the last to sign a LOI but he has personally reported to Scout that it has been sent to Nebraska. All of this is unofficial however.
Some disappointments, however. there was some speculation that NU might get a couple of last minute converts that they ended up not getting. Myles Wade, a 4* DT signed with Texas Tech, the second team he committed to. And JPP, a juco teammate of Kinnie who plays DE, has ended up signing with SFla after all (his committed school). Kinnie and the NU coaches had been pressuring him to change to NU and some thought it was a highly likely switch, but alas, not to be.
For those who are eternal optmists: RB Bryce Brown, the #1 recruit in the country by both Rivals and Scout, continues his vacation in Nebraska. He is spending time with his uncle Lawrence Pete (ex NU DT) and has not signed with anyone so far today and is not expected to sign while on vacation. He MIGHT visit NU campus again while he is here, but will probably end up at Miami -- but who knows? Pessimists suggest Brown might bring as much baggage as skills to whatever school he signs with but again, this is all just rumor too.
In any event, the signing day story is PROBABLY finished and we will get the details on all the signees for the next several days.
