I do nto remember TO doing this (but who was offered and status was not tracked nearly as closely when he coached). 

I do remember a OL from CA who was offered by FS before his trip to NU, during the trip Milt/Dan Young must have thought he was not good enough because he called FS after the trip to accept the offer & FS told him it had been pulled. He ended up going to Cal and played as a FR against NU on national TV, 1998 or 1999.
