Here is another article with emails from other players / staff about the
situation.

Article from CBSSports.com:

Read the Emails yourself:

The complicated thing about the matter here is the complainer has
significant ties to the biggest source of sports news ESPN, which is
probably why those emails were sent to CBSSports.com.

Just to add one more thing to this conversation...it's not like he suffered
the concussion that day.

A few DAYS before he suffered a MILD concussion and had a doctor's note that
he wasn't to practice and was to stay in a shaded area. Leach sent him to
the shed/garage whatever and sent the medical staff to watch over him.

On another note, TT players have said that the 'shed' is the only building
close to the practice facility they have access to and it's used all the
time by players, especially in the summer when they need to get out of the
sun/heat for a little while.

Again, there's a context for the story. A player that was mildly hurt was
asked to go to a place where players go often to be close to the practice
facility but to get out of the sun and the coach made sure a medical trainer
was looking out for him the whole time he was there.

Was it because the kid was a crybaby and he was being 'punished'? Possibly.
Does that mean Leach was in the wrong? No, because by all accounts he's been
a crybaby all year long. He didn't put the kid's life in any danger and
even made sure someone with medical training (not a doctor, but a licensed
sports medical trainer in the state of Texas) was looking after him. He
accommodated the doctor's orders for him to be in the shade. So...are we
seeing what kind of a joke this whole thing is???
