That would be a good fit for the Big XII, but I'm hard pressed to think 
of a good reason why Arkansas would be interested. The ESPN article that 
Steve R. posted earlier indicated that the Big XII divides about $103M, 
whereas the SEC splits $135M. That's a difference of about $2.5M per school.

BYU might be the best the Big XII could do, though trips there would put 
a dent in all the travel budgets and BYU has no natural rivals among the 
Big XII teams.

This all says to me that if the Big 10 comes calling, NU would be well 
advised to listen (though I do not expect they will come calling). If 
they take Mizzou, I could see the Big XII disappearing or drastically 
shrinking into a much lesser conference.
