[Husker] Big Ten?

All of these comments make sense, however, the Big 10 runs the risk of
becoming to "east coast" stretched. Frankly, I think that Penn State has
been a travel mess for a conference that is really an "upper" midwest
conference. Indiana is probably as far as I would think that the conference
would push. I realize they have Purdue and Indiana in the conference, but
can you imagine if they picked up the fan following of a Notre Dame? or I
think Mizzou makes a lot of sense because they pick up St. Louis and Kansas
City markets.
Iowa State would be a great addition, but they don't bring anything to the
table, "money wise" . Iowa State doesn't travel well and they are basically
mediocre in many of their sports.
I don't know how serious the Big 10 is about expansion. This talk crops up
every year.
We'll see.
Oh yeah, I am on vacation today and next week, so I am watching all of the
NU games I recorded using my handy dandy DVR.
I am currently watching KU-NU. I was in Lawrence for that game so theTV
vantage point is interesting. I may watch NU- Baylor or NU-OU next. I
attended both of those....but have sneak peeked them. I also recorded the
NU-Miami Orange Bowl 84. If I feel like watching an excellent
comeback...fantastic line play and the most gut wrenching finish in NU lore,
I just might play that one.
