[Husker] Two recruits de-commit from Nebraska

Skylar I have seen film of the Gabbert kid and I am not impressed- in fact, I am not even sure he would have seen the field at NU for at least three years if at all.
I am not sure how easy it is to get stars in the rankings system for these recruits, but my guess is that having a successful (if you can call it that) older brother at the same position probably accounts for a star or two ;-)
I do not know much about the other kid, but with the way Pelini does things I am not worried about kids who don't want to be in Lincoln- he will find ones who do.

Honestly, Tyler decommitting doesn't bother me too much. He is NOT the same
QB as his older brother (I would like to have him) with a much smaller body
and not nearly as good of an arm. Carter hurts a bit though. He's a very
talented receiver and he's actually said we're still in the mix with TCU and
MU, but I think our chances are not that good. (He has an in-home coming up
with Shawn and Bo).
I have no problem with his older brother decommitting, the staff was falling
apart and going to be fired soon. Tyler...well.... Another 'backstory'
note is that many believe Tyler committed when he did because the next week
we were hosting QB prospect Sean Robinson and Tyler knew we wouldn't take
more than one QB in this class, so he wanted to 'hold' his spot until he
made his final decision.
Recruiting is what it is. Kids of that age aren't going to stand by their
word all the time. I really hope we bring Curtis back, but Tyler...not so
much.

Good bye and so long if they don't want to play for a school that has
tradition and a chance at the NCG on its side, then bye bye we dont need
them
