That's all fine and good...but Rome's a little late to the party. Voting ended over 24 hours ago.

Subject: [Husker] Jim Rome is Burning talks about Suh
"I do not have a Heisman vote, but I do have a television show and right now
I'm going to use it to stump for the big Husker for that trophy. Look it up,
the 'stiff arm' goes to quote most outstanding player in college football,
not the most outstanding player on the best team. Not the best skill player
on a team with a chance to do something, the most outstanding player,
period."
"And if you saw just one play in that Big XII title game, you know who that
guy is. That guy lined up at D-Tackle who spent the entire game in Colt
McCoy's grill. And it's not just that one game, the guy did it all year
long. And he's not the guy who just occupies blockers and draws double teams
so the Blackshirt backers can come in and make plays. Suh occupies blockers
and draws those double teams and still makes the play himself, and typically
behind the line of scrimmage."
"And if you have a vote, and are hung up on stats, then check out these
numbers. 12 sacks, 10 passes defended, 3 blocked kicks, a forced fumble AND
he leads his team in tackles from the trenches of the "A" gaps. That's
crazy, it's unheard of, the guy is a stat monster. The question is not, 'How
can you vote for a defensive tackle for Heisman?', the question is, 'How can
you not?'."
"He won't win, but he should win. IF the award really goes to the most
outstanding player."
