[Husker] Setting the table

The B12 championship game is history, and there are more important things at
hand.

The team's 2010 season outlook will be tempered by how the team moves on to
handle the Holiday Bowl. If they cannot take the positives from Dallas and
build a crescendo on the 2009 season by handling what is in front of them
then I think the wrong tone will be set.

Coach Osborne's 94 team chose to do exactly that after an even more
disappointing miss in the Orange Bowl and didn't lose a game for two
seasons.

Can this team do the same? Not a high statistical probability, but they can
choose to continue to build and also to perform at their highest possible
level. In doing that the possibilities become what they *can* achieve versus
what they *almost* achieved.

In short they can set the table for a continued rise. This is a purposeful
building process by Coach Pellini and Dr. Osborne (in my opinion) and it
overshadows the public doubt of specific worries such as the offensive
coordinator or line. There are keen football minds running the show in
Lincoln and I sincerely they will miss turning over any stones in this
building process.

The table is set for 2010 and hopefully the collective resolve of the
players will be toward that end. It begins in San Diego on December 30th.
