  '00: 8th in total offense, 10th in scoring offense

    o '01: 2nd, 4th

    o '02: 9th, 9th

    o '03: 9th, 8th

    o '04: 9th, 9th

    o '05: 8th, 9th

    o '07: 5th, 8th

    o '08: 6th, 6th

    o '09: 11th, 8th


One might even hypothesize that being three places higher in scoring 
versus total offense in 2009 reflects the contribution from the 
defense--and to some extent the kicking game--either direct scores, 
or more often a short field for the offense.
