[Husker] Internet rumor?

Well I'm not sure if my buddy wants me to say, I will have to ask, but
its not TWC. I thought Mangino was the OC at Oklahoma when Bo was on the
staff but I could be wrong.

He doesn't work for Time Warner Cable, does he?

I think Mangino has been at Kansas since 2002, so I don't think Mangino
and either Pelini brother have worked together, except possible at
Kansas State.  (Both Mangino and Carl Pelini were at Kansas State at one
time.)  But running backs coach Tim Beck is a connection.

As for whether Bo is going to change offensive coordinators, that's
always a possibility, and now is the time to start evaluating the
situation.  They need to have some long hard, heart-to-heart discussions
with the entire offensive staff and figure out what the problems are.
Bring James Dobson into the mix as well and come up with a long term
plan.

I think the playcalling concerns are an effect of a larger problem, not
the root cause.

media and told me about Turner Gill being considered at KU before I saw
it on the news...

Has anyone else heard (or read) that Watson may take a HC job somewhere
and if so Mangino would come to NU as the offensive coordinator? Weren't
Bo and he on Oklahoma's staff around the same time? I hadn't heard
Watson was even in the running for anything unless Hawkins left and that
is not happening.



I am sure this is just internet BS, but maybe someone has heard this. A
buddy of mine is trying to convince me he has read this more than once
in the last several days...
