Good Afternoon All:

I'm going to make this short and not so sweet:

1. I'll excuse Coach Pelini (both of them) for their emotion after last night's game. This whole afair just further shows that this is not the Big XII Conference, rather it's the Big Texas and the Eleven Elves.

2. Honestly the coverage in the Omaha World Herald of last night's game is poor at best. The quality has deteriorated over the years significantly. The coverage was exponentially better in the '60s, '70's, '80's and into the 90's. I hardly even look at the OWH anymore and just this morning was counting the number of sections in the paper of any value to me. It was a whopping 4 sections (National News, Midlands News, Sports, and E.T.A.) otherwise 80% of the actual weight of the paper was nothing but ads. I'm probably going to drop my subscription to the weekend paper starting tomorrow, it's just not worth it.
