The crux of the matter: Even though the ball appears to hit the ground out
of bounds w/ 1 sec on the clock, was that even reviewable? The call on the
field (i.e. the official time keeper) was "game over."

Only those kinds of decisions specifically designated as reviewable can be
reviewed. Otherwise the officiating decisions made at the time are final. As
far as I can see, the only provision for adjusting the clock on a replay is
"3f. Clock adjustment when a ruling on the field is reversed." That does not
seem to apply here.

So is the "review" question moot because the on the field officials wanted
to check the time? Is there another basis for resetting the clock separate
from the Instant Replay rules?

Any chance NU will appeal this? Any chance the outcome will be reversed
(i.e. the final FG nulified)?
