I certainly understand the need to play conservatively on offense,
underscored by the three INTs we did give up. However, after Paul's punt
return to the 10, it was obvious to all (or should have been) that there was
zero chance to run the ball in from there against that defense.
Consequently, three pass attempts into the endzone were appropriate rather
running twice for -1. You've got to take your shots when the opportunity is
there, and we really didn't. In that situation even a sack would not have
harmed the FG chances.

Exactly the same thing happened in the OU game with exactly the same result.

What an incredible effort by the team and coaches, though. So near.
