Nick...
(sorry for the top post, I can't seem to get this yahoo mail to do what I want.)

Oh yeah....we are in sync on this.  I don't care at all what he did.  When I first heard about it, I thought "I wonder what he did", but that's it.  I'm not interested in trying to pursue the cause of his dismissal and don't know why anyone else is either.  I'm fine with Bo keeping it confidential, I think it's the right thing to do (iimho).  Bo was on the "Jim Rome Show" this morning and Rome asked him point blank "What exactly did Castille do?"  Bo didn't answer of course but did say that Quentin made "several" mistakes and finally "made one too many".  Bo said the team knows exactly why Q was dismissed and understand it clearly. He also said that the coaches and team have moved on.  I think everyone else should to but if some get obsessed with "why", I can understand that too.  It's natural I guess, I'm just not interested myself and I support Bo in keeping it on the down low.  I remember I was more interested in what happened with Glenn
maybe because it was later in the season after so many games.  And it got really weird when Glenn copped to a major infraction that he didn't really do!  Never heard anyone do that before.
I'll be in Lincoln for Ark. State (ugh...but it's my hs reunion weekend and we're all going to the game) and I'll be in Blacksburg the next weekend.  Can't wait.

Dave -

I don't disagree at all.  Castille's dismissal really leaves the RB
position without an experienced backup to Helu.  And you're right,
Helu has gotten dinged up a bit this last year, but he had two other
capable backs in the backfield.  No one else back there this year has
gotten a snap in a Division I college game.  There is quality in that
backfield, but little experience.  None have Castille's size.

My concern was with what Kathy said earlier about some of the bloggers
and other who have been speculating ad nauseum about what Castille
did, or rather what everyone thinks he did.  My point was that it
doesn't really matter.  He broke Bo's rules.  We assume he knew Bo's
rules, and still he broke them.  Doesn't really matter what rule he
broke, or even how many times.  I think we can assume it was more than
a minor breach, but other than that, do we really need to know?

I heard Shatel this afternoon on the radio, who will write his piece
for tomorrow's paper asking that Bo give out more information about
the process Bo used, or uses, to make decisions on player status.  I
wish him luck with that.  I don't think Bo owes us much of an
explanation, and I rather doubt that he'll give us one.
