[Husker] Quentin Castille Dismissed from Team

Well, I don't have any ill will toward Quentin as a person at all and I too hope that he turns out ok.  But he got thrown off the team and I have no doubt that he deserved it.  He let himself and his teammates down.  So I'm much more concerned with the impact on the team than on Quentin.  Running back was an area that seemed relatively ok, barring injury of course, and now this.  Roy is a fine back,  but does get dinged, so until the next guy steps up and shows some mettle, it's a concern.  We've all read the articles and know how thin we are behind Helu.  I'm all for Burkhead or someone else being a major stud, but until it proves to be so, it is scary back there behind a new qb.  Regardless, I am dying for the season to start.

Very nicely stated.  While we all lament the adverse affect on the Huskers as a team, I think many of us forget the impact on the individual's future.  Like you, I wish Q well and I hope he has learned a very important lesson.
