I have a mixed opinion on the upcoming Husker season.  While I feel the team 
improved as last year's season progressed, I think the loss of critical 
players and a tougher schedule could prove formidable.

My predictions for next year.
Offense:
Improvement in the running game, due to a stronger and better prepared line.
Drop in the running game by the QB.
Passing game stays the same.
Overall, slightly less productive, as Ganz did a lot with his feet.

Defense:
Continued improvement in the line.
LB corps stays the same.  (ineffective)
DB's improve dramatically.  (this is critical)
Overall, based improved DB play, the defense dominates.

Overall:
8-4  regular season
Losses to VaTech, TT, KU, and OU.
Nebraska blows out Missouri and Colorado.
KU loses to S. Miss, OU, TT, Texas, and surprisingly, to Missouri.
Nebraska faces Texas in the Big XII Championship and loses a tough game.
Nebraska faces BYU in the Holiday Bowl and totally crushes them.
Final record of 9-5 and ranked #20.

Next year:
Much improved offense
Excellent defense
11-1 regular season, with only loss to Texas
Beat Texas in the Big XII Championship game.
Beat Penn St in a BCS Bowl
Final record 13-1 and ranked #3.
