This is getting a little hard to follow. But I think we can all agree that we hope it turns out that Cody was suspended for something that either 1.. was not an NCAA infraction or 2. that BP reported the infraction when he found out about it.

I haven't read anything new here, although there is something going on behind the scenes that doesn't make sense from any of the angles being discussed if taken at face value. If he scalped tickets, UNL would have been notified via Bo (someone in the organization who also knew the reason would know not to keep this from the administration and from the NCAA). Thus the UNL statement that they knew nothing about CG scalping could not be true and UNL lying could cause big problems.
If my understanding is correct, why would Glenn say that he sold tickets except to provide an excuse/public alternative for the real reason? The Redskins statement that they researched the reason and are comfortable with it. Thus, it is possible that CG told the press one thing and the Redskins the truth, which they could research and I am pretty sure would be comfortable with what happened (bad judgement, not bad intent). Thus UNL would be truthful with their response of not knowing anything about scalping, and the NCAA would be sated as well. You can lie to the press without recourse, but UNL lying to the NCAA has grave consequences.
I do believe he quote to be from Cody, but not necessarily accurate. Overall, keep in mind that Cody is really one of the good ones who misjudged.. BP suspended him to prevent something worse from happening.
Everyone must have their own beliefs on the topic and I'll leave the topic as it stands. Cody really is one of the good guys who messed up once.
My last entry on the topic,

>> NOTE TO ALL: The article was wrong -- Cody Glenn did not scalp tickets.
The author is quote an incorrect rumor that has been floating around for
quite a while. What CG did do was not legal, but it was not against NCAA
rules (ironic somehow).
Duane: Whether Cody scalped or not I don't know, but it's not just the
Washington Post that has quoted him as saying he did, so if he didn't, the
author is not wrong, Cody is.
>> Having said this, Cody has chosen not to make this public so no one will
find out from me either. Just let it drop and cheer for the guy at the next
level. This is the first time in quite a while that I have had reason to
cheer for my sister's favorite team.
But Cody DID make this public today with HIS comments. Nobody brought this
stuff up but CODY.
